HarryByFountain.jpg

Harry Price cared greatly about people and worked to make Napa a good place for all. He served for many years on the boards of the Opera House, the Arts Council, and the N.V. Community Foundation. Harry formed the first board of supervisors for Serenity Homes and was their president until his sudden passing. For Serenity Homes and other non- profits, he began his dream project to provide housing for clients trying to put their lives back together, the Eco Village.

Harry practiced commercial law for about 15 years in San Diego and the Peninsula. His long-term goal was always to switch over to real-estate development. He started his first real-estate project in Sacramento and then came to Napa where he continued to pursue his interest in real-estate development. Among his many projects, Harry will always be remembered for turning the dilapidated Napa Mill into a showplace. He, with CDI partners, built many commercial buildings throughout Napa and Solano counties. In all of his dealings , he always treated everyone with honesty and respect.

Here is my Journey

LINDA PRICE, treasurer

LindaPrice.jpg

My new role is real-estate developer to carry on Harry Price’s dream of creating transitional housing for clients of non-profits. Formerly, I had retired after years of being a software developer. My software was for military applications and a library retrieval program for NASA. After Harry and I moved to Napa, I wanted a computer job with little commuting. I found a company in Petaluma that allowed me to do my software development out of my home-office and telecommuting the programs to them. I worked for them doing commercial applications for many years, until they sold their company.

I am currently a board member for California Native Plant Society of Napa, Silverado Country Club Estates, and Serenity Homes. I am a former board member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley.
